Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak formerly known as Rohtak University was incepted in 1976 by State Legislative Act No. 25 of 1975. University got the recognition of University Grant Commission in February 1983. University is 75 Km away from Capital of India and is well connected by rail and road.
